Veronicastrum virginicum album

Veronicastrum virginicum album looks amazing planted as a drift in a perennial border. It is the white flowered form with a very tiny touch of pink. It flowers for an extended time during summer and early autumn won top of long stems with lance shaped dark green leaves. These plants are drought tolerant once established and also make outstanding cut flowers. The example in the image is growing in a 20cm pot. In the ground they will reach 90cm high with a 40cm spread and are suitable for cool to temperate areas in full sun to part shade. Cut back to ground level in winter for fresh new growth in spring.
