Veronicastrum 'Ming Blue'

Veronicastrum sibiricum 'Ming Blue' has an unusually coloured flower of silvery lilac that tend to glow in the late afternoon sun. Quite unique and different to the pink or white flowering varieties. Ming Blue flowers for an extended time during summer and early autumn on top of long stems with lance shaped dark green leaves. These plants are very drought and frost tolerant once established and make outstanding cut flowers. Grows to around 90cm high with a 35cm spread and suitable for cool to temperate areas in full sun to part shade. Cut back to ground level in winter for fresh new growth in spring.
