Also known as Russian sage, this is an ideal plant for hot and dry areas throughout Australia as well as cooler coastal areas. It has profuse, tall airy spires of violet-blue flowers on top of stems with upright grey green leaves during mid-summer through Autumn. Great for attracting butterflies and pollinators! 'Atriplicifolia' is very drought tolerant once established and is a winter deciduous plant that can be cut back to the base during late autumn/winter for fresh new growth in spring. Grows to around 110cm high. For cool to temperate areas in full sun.
