Hosta 'Sum and Substance'

Hosta 'Sum and Substance' is a large Hosta that gets incredible colouring if positioned well in dappled or morning sun. It develops a large clump with a leaf spread of one metre or more. The glossy, chartreuse to golden leaves gleam and can grow 50cm long and 25cm wide with interesting corrugations and ripples. In summer, tall lavender flowers add to the show. To our eyes this is one of the best in feature shade plants. Grows tall to around 80cm high.
