Geranium sanguineum

We grow a number of Geraniums, and this one would easily be the toughest of all. It is drought, frost and heat tolerant whilst remaining attractive throughout the growing season. It has dark green, divided foliage with a continual display of large, deep magenta-pink flowers which are nearly purple as they are emerging. It is a Perennial that flowers during spring and summer, however the foliage develops to beautiful shades of red in autumn. For best results, plant in full sun or part shade in cool to temperate areas. Grows to around 50cm high with a 50cm spread.
