Euphorbia 'Craigieburn'

New shoots in winter unfurl to a very deep red to near purple leaf that gradually fades to an olive shade as the weather warms, very unusual and unique, particularly when the plants are fully established. The image next to this description is when it is in full flower, lime green-yellow flowers on dark olive red stems grow during spring and summer to make an excellent show. Here in SA, it grows to around 60cm high with a spread of 70cm. Reasonably drought tolerant and for well-drained soil in cool temperate and drier sub tropic locations. For best results, plant in full sun.
