Cerastium 'Snow in Summer'

Commonly known as Snow in Summer, this perennial ground cover thrives in difficult soils and dry places making it an excellent addition to the minimal water or low maintenance garden. It has low, sprawling silvery grey foliage that is smothered in small white flowers on very fine stems during late spring and early summer. Can be used in tubs and planters as well. It is semi dormant in winter and grows to around 25cm high with an 80cm spread. Best in sunny and dry gardens in cool to temperate areas.
