Tulbaghia

Tulbaghia are a great choice for lining paths ,driveways and front edging of sunny garden borders. They can also be used mass planted as a ground cover. A low maintenance, highly drought hardy plant, with narrow strap foliage around 35cm high. With thin stems of miniature Agapanthus like flowers, well clear of the foliage. Flowering in spring, summer and sometimes autumn. Adaptable to a wide climatic range. As with many drought tolerant plants a good mulch and some water in the height of summer will improve the length of flowering  considerably.
