Origanum

Origanum's are excellent plants for the dry garden, herb garden or fronts of borders. We grow several named varieties here, these differ from the culinary oregano but have many of the same advantages, please note not all we carry are edible. They tend to go deciduous in winter and are good for attracting bees and butterflies. All the Origanum we carry have the typical oregano green scented leaves and slowly form clumps that should be sheared to ground level each winter. For cool to temperate climates in well-drained soil, full sun or part shade.
