Eucomis

Eucomis or pineapple lilies are a South African bulb, there are several named varieties which are excellent garden specimens, they grow in cool to tropical climates and are very adaptable, tough and drought tolerant. Flower for many weeks in summer/autumn ,the stems make superb cut flowers lasting 6 weeks or more and are pleasantly scented. Best in full sun. Grows well in containers. In cool climates they will be deciduous. Supplied as bare root bulb/s.
