Collection: Agastache

Agastache are becoming increasingly popular in Australian gardens. They are exceptionally long flowerers and once established in a well-drained soil are very drought tolerant and problem free. Here in our cold winters and 40 degree+ summers, they sail through with only a minimal amount of water. Most varieties have a liquorice scented fragrance. Also known as hummingbird mint, they are a perfect plant for attracting birds and butterflies to the garden. They are semi deciduous in winter and are best cut back just before new growth starts in spring. Suitable for well drained soils in cool to temperate climates with full sun or light shade.
